Purpose of the post

This will be the first of what I hope will be comments on topics of interest, or comments about comments I see on blogs. Most of what I have seen seems to be environmentally perfect; recycling of the same comments, over and over again. Everybody seems to hate/support/be for/ against the same things in absurdum.
I would like to attempt to go at it from the point of view of Harry Truman, who is supposed to have said; "I'll tell the truth, and they'll think it's Hell." I'll try, and we'll see.
